How many years does the Primary Education Program last?
Primary Education Program is planned to last 4 years (8 semesters, after the prep-year in English Language School (ELS)


Is there any minor or double major opportunity at TEDU Primary Education Program?
Teacher Candidates of the Primary Education Program can enroll in the minor and double major programs of different departments within the Faculty of Education, provided that they meet the necessary conditions set by the university. In this context, if a student studying in the Primary Education Program receives acceptance, they can complete the courses from the English Language Education Program, Elementary Mathematics Education Program, Early Childhood Education Program, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program in terms of double major or minor preferences.
 
 
Can I benefit from the scholarship opportunities in the Primary Education Program at TEDU?

Do the learning environments in the courses of the Primary Education Program take place in classrooms and lecture halls in the Primary Education Program?
TEDU Primary Education Program is a multi-disciplinary program in which there are courses from different fields such as Mathematics, Life Science, Turkish Language Teaching, Music Education (Click for Primary Education Program). Learning environments for these courses are determined in a way to make learning efficient and appropriate for the content of each lesson. Apart from classes and lecture halls, Pedagogy Laboratory, out-of-school learning environments (field trips to the primary school, insect school visit, village school visit, aquarium, museum visits) are the most frequently used learning environments in the pandemic process.
 


What is the medium of instruction at TEDU Primary Education Program?
TEDU Primary Education Program is the only program of which medium of instruction is English. In this context, all courses that do not require Turkish instruction are taught in English.
 


What are the Assessment and Evaluation tools other than examinations in the Primary Education Program?
