Pedagogy Laboratory
The pedagogy laboratory has been prepared with the aim of enabling teacher candidates to transform their theoretical knowledge acquired during their undergraduate education into practice simultaneously. With the laboratories, it is aimed that our students can anticipate what kind of real classroom environment in which they will perform upon graduation. Laboratories with the essential and necessary stimulus and materials provide our students with effective experiences in terms of providing simulation opportunities for the environments in which the profession will be performed.
The Early Childhood Education Laboratory
The Early Childhood Education Laboratory aims to provide a learning environment where teacher candidates can experience situations in their professional life upon graduation and can cope with the difficulties they may encounter. There are other practices of this laboratory that teacher candidates present their pre-planned classroom activities before real teaching practices in a realistic preschool learning environment and gain experience with the materials. In addition, this educational environment, designed to allow all kinds of individual and group work, has rich material equipment that can be used in many of the courses that receive early childhood education.
There are an art and music centers, a children's library consisting of books for different age groups, and a quiet reading area, and educational materials designed with inspiration from different approaches. All these materials and learning centers give prospective teachers an idea about the educational environment in which they will continue their professional life and offer the opportunity to experience the educational processes in a controlled manner under the mentorship of faculty members.
