The National Congress for Primary Teacher Candidates (USOOK 2021) led by TEDU Primary Education Department was held on May 29-30, 2021 via the digital video conference. The opening speeches of our congress were presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Haşlaman (Head of the Primary Education Department), Elif Yıldırım (representative for the USOOK commitee), Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak (Dean of the Faculty of Education), and Prof. Dr. Oya Yerin Güneri (TED University Vice Rector) respectively. USOOK which was held for the first time in our country, was organized in 2 parallel sessions, including paper presentations and activities. Paper presentations included 8 research topics in 6 sessions; on the other hand, the activities took place as 2 panels, 13 workshops and 5 talks/conversations.
USOOK 2021 (USOOK 2021) was held together with the experts, pioneering academicians and experienced teachers with the support of TEDU Primary Education students. It was a congress where problems and solutions were discussed. It has been a congress where current and emerging issues, and experiences in our education life are shared in line with the updated developments with the effect of the COVID-19 epidemic in the field of Primary Education, and solutions are discussed in this respect.
We would like to thank our guests and all the participants for their contribution to our congress, which had a high participation rate, and we wish that we could organize the second of our congress next year.
