Activities for Teaching Letter Sounds from Double Major Students in Teaching Early Literacy Course

As part of “EGEP 205 Teaching Early Literacy” course conducted by Dr. Berrin Genç Ersoy, the faculty member of Primary Education Program at the Department of Elementary Education, our students who are studying double major in Primary Education Program presented the materials related to teaching letter sounds step by step and accompanying teaching process in the context of online lessons that consider Sound-Based Sentence Method. Educational games, creative writing and text studies, digital and real life-based activities aimed at improving reading, writing, speaking and listening skills were presented within the scope of the activities enacted.
