TEDU Faculty of Education has started to develop a new model for teacher training programs within the scope of the transfer of authority of the Council of Higher Education to the Faculty of Education. Apart from the literature review and the examination of teacher training practices in different countries, interviews were made with both external and internal stakeholders. For this purpose, TEDU Primary Education Program faculty members have also successfully completed stakeholder interviews.

In the external interviews; TED Headquarters and TED Ankara College administrators, TEDMEM team, MEB school coordinators, private education institutions senior managers, experts in education, TEDU administrative unit managers and parents volunteered in order to address the needs of pre-service teacher training programs and the aspects that need improvement. On the other hand, in the internal interviews, teaching staff from the Department of Primary Education, our Primary Education Program graduates, primary teachers at schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, primary teachers working at TED Ankara College, junior, sophomore, and senior students were also with us in this process of renovation of the new undergraduate program for Primary Education. They made a significant contribution to the process with their observations and experiences reflected in their meetings. As TEDU Faculty of Education, we would like to thank everyone who took part in this meaningful process.
