İklim değişikliği ve iklim krizi ile alanyazına giren kavramların görselleştirilerek tanıtılması, Türkiye’nin sıfır karbon hedefleri doğrultusunda bilgilendirici içerikler üretilmesi ve iklim değişikliği kapsamında toplumda somut davranış değişikliği yaratma potansiyeli olan dikkat çekici dijital tasarımların ve platformların üretilmesi amacıyla ortaya çıkan, ‘UNDP Sıfır-Karbon Okuryazarlığı: Dijital İçerik Geliştirme Kampı ve Araştırma Projesi’ EÜAŞ’ın öncülüğünde, Mayıs 2022 tarihinde UNDP Türkiye tarafından desteklenerek hayata geçmiştir.
'UNDP Zero-Carbon Literacy: Digital Content Development Camp and Research Project', which emerged with the aim of visualizing and promoting the concepts that entered the literature with climate change and climate crisis, producing informative content in line with Turkey's zero carbon targets, and producing remarkable digital designs and platforms that have the potential to create concrete behavioral change in society within the scope of climate change, was implemented under the leadership of EÜAŞ and supported by UNDP Turkey in May 2022.
On 05-06 June 2023, as the final event of the project, the Digital Design Creation Camp and Competition was hosted by TED University. During the event, experts from EÜAŞ, academics from TEDU Primary Education Program, Dr. Professor Mehmet Sen and Dr. Lecturer Sinem Sözen Özdoğan and NGO representatives held 4 different workshops.
24 students who passed the pre-selection, including TEDU students, participated in the competition and TEDU Rector Prof. Dr. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu presented the awards to the group that came first in the competition. TEDU Primary Education Program students Berfin Erdemir and Berk Gümüs also drew attention to disposable fashion products with their designs.
